Does Fusion Field Service simplify Asset Details & Parts Ordering Plugin setup in OFSC?
Hello Folks,
Looking for insights into an exciting transformation happening in the Field Service space!
With the introduction of Oracle Fusion Field Service, does the setup process for plugins like Asset Details and Parts Ordering in Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) become more streamlined?
Specifically:
- Is the IDCS-based Fusion connection setup still required? (Ideally should not, Since now we say that Field Service in now on Fusion! 🤪)
- Do we still need to configure and deploy these plugins manually within OFSC?
- Do we have any out-of-the-box components or simplified flows for these use cases in Fusion Field Service?
Would appreciate insights from anyone who's implemented this recently
