Import Status shows as 'Queued for import' and doesnot move further

Hi,

We are trying to import data of a custom object through Import Management and after submitting the import activity the status shows as 'Queued for import' and doesn't not move further. Also data is not imported either. Please let us know if anyone observed this behavior in the past and how to resolve this.
