Apex and liferay as CMS

Summary:

Currently we are working with a customer who asks us if it is possible to integrate APEX to liferay, currently with Liferay the customer can manage content and build portals and sites they want to know if there is a way that APEX can consume the content that liferay manages, in the end what they are looking for is that the applications that are built in APEX take advantage of the PWA features that APEX can achieve but that APEX can consume the content (such as images, icons, text), that liferay manages.

Currently the customer don't use APEX but want to explore the possibility of implementing it, have LifeRay DXP 7.4 (deployed onPremise Infra on Apache Tomcat).
