We want to bring to your attention an essential aspect of our Oracle Cloud Services agreement and provide an update on our software upgrade practices.
To ensure optimal performance, security, and functionality, Oracle requires all customers to maintain the latest Generally Available (GA) software versions for Oracle Cloud Services. Software updates are released regularly, and keeping your services up to date is crucial. These updates include not only product improvements and new features, but they also include mandatory security packages to ensure secure operations for your business running on Oracle services.
Upgrade Rescheduling: We understand that upgrades can impact your business operations, and we strive to minimize this impact; however, please note that to ensure the highest level of security for all cloud environments, Oracle is no longer rescheduling planned upgrades. If you experience a product issue in a lower environment after a scheduled upgrade, Oracle will prioritize a suitable resolution to ensure you do not experience a significant business disruption from the planned upgrade.
