Talent Review Meeting: Time Zone Issue

Summary:

We've encountered several challenges during our recent Talent Review cycle stemming from Time Zone set ups in the Talent Review module. I have included a summary below:

  • The Talent Review setup only seemed to work correctly if ALL users were on UTC - We asked our employees to change time zones to their actual time zone as is required by other modules within the system.
  • Data Submission Deadline - While we anticipated that users might not be able to access until midnight because of UTC, they actually lost access to change ratings by mid-morning on the submission date, well before midnight UTC.
