Why legal entity on AR invoice is not defaulting from Transaction Type?

We have made a logic where Transaction Type on the Autoinvoiced invoice coming out of Order Management should be changed as per the Legal Entity code is given in the Sales Order Header EFF. But the issue we are facing is that the Legal Entity on the AR Transaction under Miscellaneous tab is not defaulting from whatever is defined in Transaction Type. What can be the issue and how it can be defaulted to pick from Transaction Type.
