Is it possible to configure multiple attachment sections with user-based visibility in Sales?

Hi everyone,

We are expanding the use of the Attachments field in the Account object within Oracle CX Sales, integrating it more deeply into our internal support workflow.

I have a specific question regarding visibility and configuration:

Is it possible to configure more than one attachment field (i.e., separate attachment sections or custom fields) within the Account record?


More importantly, can we define different visibility rules per field or type of attachment?

For example:

  • One group of users can access only financial documents;
  • Another group can access only contractual attachments.

If this is not possible through standard functionality, is there an alternative approach? For instance, through customization, custom objects, role-based security, or using EL expressions?
