Triggers working different for different transactions (Salary and Grade Change)

Change in Grade and Change in Salary triggering behavior is not working as expected.

Config:

Problem Statement: It is triggering fine when there is a change in salary or grade, but when a person is going on "Secondment", means when the entire process of secondment from OGL, Core HR, is being followed, there are not triggers, considering Secondment = Salary Change, Grade Change, and also a change in Assignment (assignment 2 is created).

Above is fine for us, since that's how we wanted it to work in terms of secondment, no triggers. But I still want to confirm this behavior.
