RedwoodMatrix manager does not have line manager role are not able to access the My team tab for PMS

We have a requirement from the client that the for Performance and Goal Management matrix manager are required, but they dont have the line manager role because of they are not able to access the My Team tab.

Is there a way through for only Performance and Goals we can enable the My team tab as just the notification will not work.
