What is the purpose of the Generation Window in the Schedule Generation Profile?

Summary:

According to Oracle, schedule managers begin working on their schedules when the generation window opens and must publish the schedule before the window closes.

I created a Schedule Generation Profile with a start date of 5/4/2026 and set the window to open in 30 days. However, I was still able to create a schedule using this profile.
