Outlook Add-In: Activities Not Visible in Real-Time, Created Later with Same Timestamp

Summary:

We are experiencing an issue with the Outlook Add-In integration for Oracle CX.

For two emails were successfully created follow up tasks to the correct account, but the activities were not visible to a user at the time the emails were sent. When reviewing the same account a few days later, the activities appeared — however, both were created with the same timestamp: 14th at 12:00.

I assume that the activities are being written to the account only after some delay, and with identical creation times, rather than reflecting the actual time of the original email activity.

Has anybody else experienced activities being written with a delay and identical timestamps?
