Not able to enable "Update Profile" option in performance template while its in use

Hi Team,

We are not able to enable the "Update Profile" option in the performance template after the document has been released. But, We need to enable this as we need to make the performance ratings flow to the Talent Ratings page. Kindly update on the feasibility or workaround to achieve this.
