Can Employees Record Two Time Entries (Project and Non-Project Based)
Summary:
We would like to confirm a use case for Oracle Time and Labor (OTL).
The customer plans to integrate with swiping machines to capture attendance data (for reporting purposes only). At the same time, they also want to use OTL for time entry against projects.
- Can OTL be configured to support both attendance tracking and project time entry simultaneously?
- If so, can a single employee have two separate time entries in the same period — one linked to a project/task and another that is not linked to a project (for attendance purposes)?
Please confirm the feasibility and any considerations we should be aware of.
