Option to configure the time zone on behalf of Field Technicians in the new Fusion Field Service

Is there is an option to set the time zone on behalf of field technicians, instead of requiring technicians to log in to the Fusion application and update their preferences directly (as i understand this is the new approach with fusion field service).

Context

Business wants all field technicians default time zone to be set as CT, Whereas currently its been somehow defaulted to EST. Since we are in the fusion field service, from OFS we dont have the capablity to set the timezone as its coming in as readonly and need to make changes in the fusion application → Preference → Regional → Time Zone which i understand needs to be done by each resource.
