Issue while saving comments in performance document

Employees are unable to save comments in performance document when a additional tab for same instance is open

We have Performance management module for employees to evaluate their mid year and year-end performance. Admins assign mid year and year end performance documents for each business unit by running 'Manage Eligibility Batch Process' scheduled process. Each performance document contain overall section and questionnaires to update the details and submit for manager evaluation. Employees and Line managers can view their goal plans while submitting their performance documents via deep links provided in the performance document page.
