Elapsed shift that spans two days

Hello,

We use Elapsed shifts within our organisation, and the majority of staff start and end their shift on the same day.

We have a team who work night shifts, and start their work shift on one day (for example, at 8.00pm) and then finish the shift on the following day (for example, at 6:00am).

This causes issues with recording absence in the system as, currently, leave can only be entered for a calendar day - this means that the team are unsure how to record leave for a shift that spans two working days.

Can anyone advise how leave can be recorded for these staff within the system using the Elapsed shift/time type?
