We are encountering issues with processing Open Enrollment following a recent configuration update. Here’s what we’ve implemented and the challenges arising:

Current Setup:

  1. We originally had two separate plans: Voluntary Life and Waive Voluntary Life.
  2. The new requirement is to use the EOI (Evidence of Insurability) submission date as the coverage start date, while maintaining interim coverage based on the default election (Waive or zero enrollment) or prior enrollment.
  3. We have consolidated into a single Voluntary Life plan with two options: Voluntary and Waive.
