Source Based Promising in GOP

Summary:

Hi Experts,

Could you please let me know if anyone implemented Source based promising for promising sales orders or used in external calls?

Till now the information I have from the user guide and CCC posts :

A) Source based promising is applicable for both Back-to-Back and normal items.

B) We do not have to collect Supply data. However, master data is to be collected.

C) We can not have Item based sourcing rule assignments / ATP rules. It can be based on Category/Customer-Customer Site etc.

D) REST API call can be used to do the availability check.

Here are a few challenges I am facing while doing a POC:
