Redwood: Custom object Create trigger

Summary:

In Custom object on record creation I want to copy the RecordID in RecordName.
Which page and event I can use for above to work.

I have tried via groovy script on Create trigger it works in Classic UI, but when I create the record in Redwood UI it doesn't work.
