Absence bidding does not trigger notification

Hi,

When employee submits absence bid, does not trigger approval notification in the bell icon, however, it just shows in the absence planning page.

Does anyone know if there is a way to show approval notification to the manager.

Manager will not be aware if employee has submitted an absence bid if there is no notification.
