Why Sales Order Backordered During Pick Release?

Hello Experts,

I am encountering an issue with a sales order that gets backordered during the pick release process. Here is the scenario:

  • Item: ITM001
  • Ordering Business Unit: BU1 (under Legal Entity LE1)
  • Shipping Warehouse: Warehouse 2 (under Legal Entity LE2)

The order was successfully processed, and the quantity was reserved from Warehouse 2. However, every time a pick release is initiated, the order line is backordered.

Could you please advise on the necessary steps to successfully pick release this item?
