Error in updating the Sales order lines EFF to avoid revision creation

Summary:

We are trying to update the Sales order lines EFF to avoid revision creation. Using OrderFulfillmentResponseService, but getting below error.

You must provide a valid value for the Status attribute for the TaskLayerResponseAM service. The current value is AWAIT_CONTRACT. (DOO-2685022).

The sales order is shipped and now in a pause step , Pause for Contract.

The request and response is attached.Can anyone guide why we are getting this error?
