Access to the Field Service tables in Fusion

I have a few questions regarding Fusion Field Service tables in below document
Tables and Views for Sales, Fusion Service, and Field Service
Are the standard tables and views for Field Service accessible directly within Fusion (e.g., via OTBI)?
And if new custom properties are created in Field Service are those properties automatically synced into those standard tables? If not, what is the recommended approach to map or integrate these custom properties into the existing tables?
Is there any retention policy for the data in these tables?
