25D query - Use REST Service - Public Absences Read Only

Hi Team,

In 25D release note, Oracle has mentioned that Use REST Service - Public Absences Read Only will replace Use REST Service - Absences Read Only.

I have the below 2 queries:

  1. What is the use of this privilege.
  2. If Oracle replaces this privilege will it be automatically replaced in the custom roles or do we have manually remove the old privilege and add in the new one. What is the process during a quarterly upgrade for such changes
  3. What is exactly the difference between these privileges and what advantage do we get in the new privilege
