Integration impact when both Qualification Plan and Accrual Plan are linked to the same Absence Type

Hello Absence Expert,

We have the requirement from the customer on an absence type as follows.

Master data for this absence type Sick Leave is an external system from which absences will come to Oracle through integration and also in some case HR Admin should be able to enter absence on employee behalf. As per the requirement of this absence type, this needs to be setup as qualification plan. However there's a legislation specific requirement is that employee should be able to see the balance for this absence.

So to cover all the requirements , we have setup absence type Sick Leave with 2 plans i.e. 1 qualification plan and 1 accrual plan attached in sequence and this hybrid setup is working fine. When the HR admin is applying absence , then balances on both the qualification plan and accrual plan is shown correctly. However , we would like to understand what would be the impact if integration will come into the picture i.e. how balance from external system would populate in Oracle and to which plan.
