Dependent Custom Field (Purpose) Based on Expense Type

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a requirement in Oracle Fusion Expenses and I need some help regarding custom field behavior.

On the expense entry screen, there's a standard field called “Type”, which lists the predefined expense types from the template (core setup). I need to create a custom attribute (DFF) called “Purpose”, and this field must be dependent on the selected value in the “Type” field.

Objective:

The values shown in the “Purpose” field should change dynamically based on the selected “Type”. For example:

• If the user selects Meals as the Type, the Purpose field should show:
  • Meal with client
