Unscheduling activity using routing

HI All,
I know we can use message scenario to unschedule an activity. However my client wants the same functionality to be executed using routing. This is due to the fact routing has the 'rollback' option so that they can reverse if they don't like what they see.
So the business use-case is when the technicians finish at 5PM and they have few activities that are pending, client want them to be moved to the same resource's non-scheduled pool by running routing at 4.30 PM so that by 5PM there are no pending tasks for the technician and they can deactivate their route.
