Maintenance work order status update from unreleased to released using ESS

Summary:

The Business wants to bypass the unreleased status when the maintenance work order is created either from a Work Request or from a manual creation, and that the work order should automatically be in Released status.

We understand that there is a mass update of status in Manage Maintenance Work Order, however that is manual task.

Is there an ESS job that we can run to progress the work order status workflow from Unreleased to Released? or can the work order created from a Work Request or from a manual creation be in Released status?
