Export App UIs to migrate to different environments?

Summary: We created an app UI inside an install. We work with various clients and want to take this custom App UI elsewhere. Is there a clean way to export just this? From what I can tell, doing the export from inside visual builder will take the entire extension and we don't want that - just the app ui.

We'd like to not create these manually each time.
