Bulk Update of Work Schedules with Exceptions

Hi Everyone,

We have a requirement for one of our customers where we need to update existing Work Schedules with Exceptions in bulk (please refer to the screenshot below).

I tried the following approaches, but neither worked as expected:

1. Using the Spreadsheet Loader available on the Work Schedule page - this allows users to create a new schedule with exceptions but doesn’t allow updating an existing one.

Error received: “A record with the value 35H_5-7.5-7.5-0-7.5-7.5-0 already exists. Enter a unique value.”

2. Using the ‘Schedule Exception’ Business Object via HDL - this can update the work schedule attached to an employee but not the work schedule definition itself.
