The Competitor Values are not corresponding to the line of business after duplicate error message

in Sales

In the Sales lead, when we select a competitor line of business and its corresponding competitor in the "Add Competitors" drawer page, it is working fine. When I try to add a duplicate competitor with the same competitor line of business, it throws an OOTB error:

  • "Attribute value 300,000,183,655,319 leads to duplicate keys for this entity type Sales Lead Competitor."
  • "Attribute value 300,000,244,604,531 leads to duplicate keys for this entity type Sales Lead Competitor."

After receiving the error, the competitor values lists doesn't get reflected as per the selected line of business. It seems like after the error message, the drawer page does not get refreshed or "reset". Is there any solution to prevent this error message breaking the functionality of the page? I have attached the screenshot where in after receiving the error message, when i select the line of business as "Server" but the competitor values are still the ones corresponding to "CSG"
