Talent profile for new employee not created even though Auto create person profiles is turned on

Summary:

We have created a new employee in the HCM system for testing purposes using New Person > Hire an employee. The employee was created successfully. After logging in using the employee credentials and navigating to Me > Skills and Qualification to update the talent profile and skills of the employee. But when searching for this person in Profiles > Talent Profiles, there is no talent profile entry for this person.

Auto create person profiles is turned on in Person Profile Type.
