Is it possible to generate the customer statement with the open transactions only?

The standard customer statement that is sent to customer includes all the transactions - open and closed. The requirement is to send to customer only the open transactions (a kind of AR aging report).

Is there any way to provide this, if we are using the standard customer statement functionality, including the automatic emailing of statements to customers?
