Lead Custom Panel Layout is not getting mapped to the Lead panel template on Opportunity on Redwood

Summary:

I'm working with the standard Lead Panel Card layout on the Account object and wanted to replicate a similar experience for the Opportunity object. However, the fields required on the Opportunity panel are different from those on the Account panel.

To address this, I took the following steps:

1.Created a custom Lead Panel Card layout specifically for the Opportunity object.
Set the style to label-card.
Included the fields which i want to display

2.Referenced this custom layout in the Opportunity Lead Panel Template by passing its layout ID.
Upon previewing the template, I noticed that:

The custom Lead Panel Card layout is not being applied. Instead, the template is displaying all fields, not just the ones defined in the custom layout.
