How to configure to route the approval to the manager of the user pulling from DFF field in Absence

in Workforce Management

Summary:

We have created the DFF in the absence and populated the DFF as the person's number while entering the absence record. Approval is configured based on the DFF, but it is routing to the DFF person number, not the manager of the DFF user
