Can we use create remittance in spreadsheet to apply open invoices to receipts

We have invoices that have been posted to ledger and receipts that have been posted to ledger. Now we intend to apply these invoices to receipts. Each receipt can have multiple invoices.

We tried and tested the Create Remittance in Spreadsheet. Using this functionality I was able to apply multiple invoices to the receipt.
However, when I tested the accounting entries, below are my findings :

Expected :

Receipt Creation -

Remittance a/c Dr

Unapplied Cash/Unidentified cash a/c

Once we apply the invoices :

Unapplied cash a/c Dr

To Receivable a/c (invoice 1)

To Receivable a/c (invoice 2)

For few I was able to see the same but for one transaction I directly saw :
