What is the best way to create an eligibility profile for employees on probation?

Our employees have two different probation lengths - 6 months or 18 months. We would like them to remain part of the eligibility profile for 1 month after their probation end date. At which point they will then become eligible for the main annual performance cycle.

How can I create a profile that only includes staff whose probation end date + plus 30 days is in the future?

We also want to be able to exclude these individuals from the eligibility profile for the annual performance cycle, as you are either having probation meetings, or you have performance conversations. Currently we just have one profile which includes everyone, so existing staff can create probation docs and new starters end up getting appraisal docs assigned.
