New medical plan and now default enrollments do not carry to next life event.
We have a requirement to sunset some of our medical plans and create new medical plans for this upcoming open enrollment. Open enrollment is about two weeks in April/May with an effective date of July 1st. We did not make our sunset medical plans inactive; instead, we used Eligibility Profiles to remove eligibility for the sunset plans and add eligibility for new plans.
We created a default enrollment FF for the OE LE so if an employee's current medical election is one of the sunset medical plans, it will default them into the equivalent new plan. This is working as expected.
