Converted employees' timecards cannot be approved and mgr does not receive bell notifications for TC

Converted employees' timecards cannot be approved by the manager via team timecards and their managers do not receive the timecard approval bell notification. They receive all other kinds of bell notification (recruitment, absences etc).

Is there something specific required in the HDL's for the managers to be able to receive bell notifications and approve timecards?

When we manually update the manager for the employee, only then the bell notifications appear and manager is able to approve the timecard.
