Extend Employee Search page in HR Help Desk

Summary:
My client uses key information from Employee records to identify, discuss and create new SRs. I have updated the SR details page to pull in PPOC Dept, DOB, 1st line of address and Preferred name via API's in VBS.

My client would like to add DOB and Address on to the Employee Search page as indicated below, allowing agents to correctly identify the PPOC, is this possible? I can see there is a layout that we can customise to add fields to under CX > Help Desk> HelpDeskContactsLOV but these fields are not available. I've also checked the variables I created for the service-request-detail-start APP UI but they aren't available in the employee-search-detail UI.
