Talent Review Meeting Template > Submission Process Threshold use ?

Hello,

What's the use of the "Submission Process Threshold" field when creating a Talent Review Meeting template ? The field is not even mandatory.

Honestly I've read many times the Oracle doc :

but I still cannot understand what this threshold does. Can someone explain it clearer and/or have concrete examples ?

For example, one thing I do not understand : this value is supposed to be scheduling an ESS job to update the employees's talent profile, when the threshold is reached. So if I put 50, the ESS job will be triggered when we reach 50 employee's rated, so that their talent profile is updated accordingly. But if I rate 49 employees, how do these 49 talent profiles get updated ?
