Custom DCL field Product Group is not working in Redwood UI

Created a custom DCL field Product Group, but in Redwood UI, the drop-down list is always blank/doesn't work.

I added a new DCL field in Activity object, referring to the Product Group object. Then I tried adding the new custom DCL field to the Appointment Create layout in Visual Builder Studio. However, the Product Group drop-down list doesn't work when I previewed it.

During preview, the Product Group dropdown is always empty (click the dropdown but it won't show anything).

What did I do wrong? Do I need to create a picker template for the Product Group DCL?
