Restrict Item & Customer in Sales Order Creation based on certain conditions

Summary:

Hi All,

Customer is into retail business and has lot of Divisions. In order to restrict the Salesperson to choose an Item from a different Division, customer wants to restrict the Item while entering the Sales Order details.

Similarly, there are customers who are aligned with certain Divisions, so the restriction has to be placed in order not to bill the customers belonging to different divisions.

Since customer is currently in EBS, they have handled through DFF & Personalization.

We achieved this using groovy expressions (Attached the Validation used) at Order Management extension level, unfortunately, since that isn't supported going forward, reaching out to the community for a better solution or approach.
