How to remove the active offering assignment from the Published Shift of the same employee?

The offering assignment type record of the employee is already tagged as "processed" on the HR side. We understand that offer assignments are active for 30 days from the time it was tagged as HR-processed, hence, we wanted to check if there's a way to hide or remove the offering assignment from the Published Shift of the employee since it is currently showing twice.
