Check-In Template Assignment

Hi All,
We have created two Check-In templates:
- General Topic
- Performance Goals
We verified eligibility, and employees were eligible for the check-in. After running the eligibility batch process, we expected the check-ins to automatically appear on the employees’ Performance pages. However, this did not happen.
Instead, either the employee or the manager had to manually create a check-in, and only then did the check-in details appear on the Performance page.
Is this the expected behavior for Check-Ins? Or should they be automatically assigned and displayed after running the eligibility batch process?
Your clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.
