The assignment is carried out through the Maintenance module, where the customer, customer account, and contact are associated. The client requires the system to ensure that equipment assignments are exclusive to the corresponding customer, preventing any batch already assigned from being linked to another customer.

Business Rules:

1. Each batch of serialized assets must be linked exclusively to a single customer.
2. The system must validate that equipment belonging to an assigned batch cannot be reassigned to a different customer.
