Performance Documents/Item Catalog Sync

Our Talent management team recently went through the process of updating competency definitions for our Hourly workforce. I updated the definitions in the Item Catalog:

But as you can see, the details for Below/Meets/Exceeds that I put into the Item Catalog hasn't fed over to the performance document:

Do the Performance rating descriptions come from another spot in HCM? If so, is there a way for us to bring the performance rating descriptions from the Item Catalogue?
