CHRM: unable to select write-off adjustment type while processing deduction claim

in Channel Revenue Management

I mapped write-off adjustment to claim type. but while processing claim, system not allowing me to select adjustment type receivable activity, only receivable activities with 'Write off' type only available to select. please suggest.
