Make a custom field visible only for content items of a specific template

Hello experts, we have configured a custom field (DFF: HRT_CONTENT_ITEMS_B) to further detail the content item of the template Degrees. However we would like to show this field only for items of the Degree template, not also for items of other templates. Seems that with VB there are no VB rule available, is that correct? Do we have any alternatives? Thanks in advance
