Alert when employee or HR make some changes on the employment and personal information

Hello,

The customer asked if it's possible to receive a FYI notification when the employee or the HR make some changes on the employment and personal information (citizenship, name, contact, assignment category..). I can see it's possible to configure an approval flow, but it would be better to have just a simple alert in order to avoid multiple notifications. Is it possible to do it? Did somebody face the same requirement and have some advises to be shared?
